Your Favorite Walt Disney World Restaurants are Reopening!

I am super excited to let you know that today Disney revealed several reopenings of our favorite Walt Disney World restaurants! "Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk, The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will soon be serving up their offerings for patrons to feast upon," Disney revealed. "Along with these exciting openings, there is some more news to share about two other locations – Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, both of which will be featuring the return of some of their beloved offerings."

The Flying Fish (credit - Disney)

The Flying Fish will be reopening on January 27, 2022, with their signature seafood dishes such as the Seafood Pearl Pasta which includes shrimp, lobster, scallops, clams, and mussels, and the Plancha-seared Scallops accompanied with savory grits, sweet corn, and Peppadew emulsion. Not only do they have the most delicious seafood dishes, but they also offer steak options as well. And don't forget dessert! I can't wait to try out the Cocoa Breach accompanied with delicious vanilla custard. Sounds amazing!

The Turf Club Bar and Grill (credit - Disney)

The Turf Club Bar and Grill will be reopening on February 3, 2022, with their mouthwatering American dishes. When you visit make sure you try out my daughter's favorite appetizer, the New York Cider-braised Mussels which is flavored with garlic, chorizo, fennel, Fresno chili, and apple cider topped with a grilled baguette. For the main course the Grilled Pork Chop and the Braised Lamb Tagliatelle both sound amazing! And of course, you can't leave without getting you a bite of the New York Cheesecake. So delicious!

Jiko - The Cooking Place (credit - Disney)

Jiko- The Cooking Place is a fan favorite and will be reopening on February 17, 2022. Jiko features flavors of Africa, India, and the Mediterranean. I suggest trying the Seafood Tagine which is full of prawns, scallops, squid, and Littleneck clams and for dessert the Kilimanjaro dessert which features a decadent dark chocolate mousse, pistachio financier, pink peppercorn meringue, cacao nib crunch, and ras el hanout pineapples. Not sure about these items? Check out the menu. You can't go wrong with anything you order at this popular Walt Disney World restaurant.

Cape May Cafe (credit - Disney)

Buffets are back at Cape May Cafe starting February 15, 2022! At breakfast enjoy yummy items such as pull-a-part bread with vanilla sauce, beef hash, and an omelet station. And you can't leave a Walt Disney World restaurant at breakfast time without Mickey waffles! For dinner enjoy items such as cornbread, seasonal harvest salad, seafood boil, and a daily carving station. Snow crab legs and lobster will be served by the pound at an additional cost.

Ale & Compass Restaraunt (credit - Disney)

Ale & Compass Restaraunt will bring back their breakfast buffet once again and will begin serving lunch starting January 31, 2022. I bet you all are looking forward to enjoying delicious a la carte entrees such as the blueberry bacon pancakes as well as grabbing some items off the breakfast buffet such as pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, overnight oats, and house-made cheddar biscuits with country gravy.

Reservations for these delicious restaurant locations become available starting January 20, 2022.
